1. Access from the Narita Airport

A. Through the Ueno station (the easiest option to the venue or Forest Hongo hotel):

Take the Keisei line Skyliner train from the Narita airport to the Ueno station (terminal) and either walk (20 min) or take a taxi (5 - 10 min, ~1200 JPY) to the University Campus Asano Main Gate (closest to the venue) and then follow on foot to the Takeda Hall (see the campus map). If you use a taxi, you may wish to show the driver this information on your destination in Japanese.

B. Through the Tokyo station

Take the JR Narita Express (N'EX) Train OR the Airport Limousine Bus from the airport to the Tokyo station. From the Tokyo station, you can take a taxi (15 min, 2500 JPY) to the University Campus Asano Main Gate (closest to the venue) and then follow on foot to the Takeda Hall (see the campus map). If you use a taxi, you may wish to show the driver this information on your destination in Japanese.

Another option is to change at the Tokyo station to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line heading to Ikebukuro and get off at the Hongo-Sanchome station (10 min, 170 JPY). Then walk along or through the Hongo Campus up to the Asano Main gate (15 - 20 min).

Still another option is to take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line at the Tokyo station heading to Ikebukuro and change at the Otemachi station to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda line . Take the train heading to Shin-Ochanomizu st. and get of at the Nezu station (20 min, 200 JPY). Walk to the Asano Main gate (5 min).

2. Access from the Haneda Airport

A. Using Limousine Bus

Take the Airport Limousine Bus to the Tokyo station. From the Tokyo station, you can take a taxi (15 min, 2500 JPY) to the University Campus Asano Main Gate (closest to the venue) and then follow on foot to the Takeda Hall (see the campus map). If you use a taxi, you may wish to show the driver this information on your destination in Japanese.

Another option is to change at the Tokyo station to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line heading to Ikebukuro and get off at the Hongo-Sanchome station (10 min, 170 JPY). Then walk along or through the Hongo Campus up to the Asano Main gate.(15 - 20 min).

Still another option is to take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line at the Tokyo station heading to Ikebukuro and change at the Awajicho station to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda line, the Shin-Ochanomizu station (20 min, 200 JPY). Take the train heading to Yushima st. and get of at the Nezu station. Walk to the Asano Main gate (5 min).

B. Using Trains

(a) Tokyo Monorail Train Details

Take the Tokyo Monorail train from the Haneda airport to the Hamamatsucho station (terminal) and then either take a taxi to the venue (Japanese instructions) or to your hotel OR change to the JR Yamanote Line heading to Tokyo st. Then you can change at the Nishi-nippori station to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda line, heading to Sendagi and Yoyogi-Uehara st., and go to the Nezu station and walk from there (5 min ).

Optionally, you can ride the JR Yamanote line to the Ueno station and then take a short taxi ride. Please visit the Tokyo Monorail Line Web for detailed instructions on how to use the Tokyo Monorail and JR lines to get to the Tokyo or Ueno station.

(b) Keikyu Line Train Details

Take the Keikyu Line train to the Shinagawa station and change to the JR Yamanote Line to get to the Tokyo station or Ueno station and follow the above instructions to get to the venue. 33 minutes by Keikyu and JR to Ueno Station (610 JPY)
59 minutes by Keikyu, JR and Chiyoda to Nezu Station (780 JPY)


3. Access from the Forest Hongo Hotel

On foot along or through the Hongo Campus and then to the Hongo/Asano Campus, the Asano Main gate (see the map).
About 10 minutes.

4. Access from other hotels

Please visit the website of your hotel to check the location and get information how to reach the nearest stations of the Hongo/Asano campus, i.e. Nezu station on the Chiyoda line and Todaimae station on the Namboku line.
